Construire en santé is a mental health help and support program that promotes overall well-being and healthy lifestyle habits. Health professionals are on call 24/7 to listen to you and point you toward the best resource for your situation. All calls are free and confidential.
You can reach the frontline Construire en santé service by calling 1-800-807-2433. Here are some services they offer you:
- Psychological (mental health) support
- Support for people with chronic diseases such as diabetes or high blood pressure
- Support for adopting a healthy lifestyle: weight loss, stress management, sleep help, etc.
- Treatment for addictions including smoking, alcoholism, drug additions and compulsive gambling
- Occupational therapy and remedial education services for your children

Le Réseau des Intermédiaires
A caring ear to talk to about addiction issues
Intermédiaires (also known as Contacts) is a network of over 100 CSD Construction workers who’ve been trained to listen and refer you to specialized resources that treat addictions.
Haven’t noticed them around? Keep an eye out, they’re definitely among you! They all wear an Intermédiaires sticker on their helmet.
If you’re struggling with gambling, drugs major depression or even violent behaviour, the first step toward healing is acknowledging the problem and asking for help. The Intermédiares are discreet, caring and they’re there to listen. No judgement.
