Improving they way we welcome, integrate and retain women workers

With the construction industry hard hit by the labour shortage, welcoming and integrating women workers and keeping them employed is the future of the construction industry. It takes all of us to make construction sites inclusive, welcoming, and safe places to work.

Putting an end to harassment at work

High pressure, lack of recognition, harassment, and tense relationships with bosses and coworkers take a physical and mental toll. For example, stress increases muscle tension and heightens the risk of developing musculoskeletal issues.

CSD Construction recommends that an analysis of psychosocial risks be carried out before developing a prevention program so that the program can address issues specific to that workplace.

Keeping women in the construction industry

CSD Construction wants to implement best practices for support while also helping more women workers know their rights and their recourse options.
