Use of the CSD Construction website implies that you have accepted the conditions of use set out below, which can be modified at any time. It is therefore advisable to consult them regularly.

The website is made available to Internet users for personal, non-commercial use exclusively.

The website provides information for Internet users who wish to learn more about CSD Construction, its philosophy, and the services and activities it provides.
Policy regarding the protection of intellectual property rights
CSD Construction undertakes to use materials (photos, texts, videos) for which they have been granted permission to use or which are subject to non-commercial use licenses, and to credit its sources. In return, CSD invites Internet users to do the same by asking permission to use any text or photo from the website and by crediting the source using a hyperlink when applicable.

CSD Construction’s website includes links to other websites. Privacy policy
CSD Construction is a union affiliated to the Centrale des syndicats démocratiques and is defined as “a movement of fraternity and solidarity dedicated entirely to training, informing and collectively promoting workers.”
CSD Construction values privacy and is concerned with the handling of personal information. Accordingly, it recognizes that privacy is everyone’s business. CSD is committed to keeping the information collected on its website and platforms confidential. CSD is also committed to protecting users’ privacy and personal information. Any personal information provided will only be used for the following purposes:
- To analyze use of CSD Construction’s websites and compile website traffic data
- To ensure that the website is relevant and running smoothly
- To tailor and personalize user experience on CSD Construction’s sites
- To respond to requests, comments or questions, and
- To send users (who have signed up) exclusive information through email or SMS messages
When you visit CSD Construction’s website
CSD only collects personal information with your consent. It is also committed to only collecting personal information:

Google Analytics
CSD Construction uses Google Analytics, a web analytics tool provided by Google that enables website administrators to analyze their audience. Google Analytics uses cookies to analyze how users navigate on CSD Construction’s websites, including compiling statistics on website activity.

Links to other sites
CSD Construction has no authority over third-party sites, including social networking sites, which have their own privacy policies. Accordingly, this Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites that may be accessed through links on this website, and CSD Construction is not responsible for such third-party websites. If you follow a link to a third-party website, said website will have its own privacy policies which should be reviewed before submitting any personal information.
RSS and mailing list
CSD Construction’s mailing lists include a double opt-in process. Therefore, you must click on the link sent to your email address to confirm your subscription.
If you choose to provide CSD with personal information through email or a form submitted via its website, CSD will use that information to respond to your message, help you obtain the information you requested or manage your consent to receive emails. In addition, when you contact CSD by email or via its website with a request, suggestion or comment that requires the team to get back to you, you acknowledge that CSD must use your email address to do so.
Under no circumstances will the personal information you voluntarily provide CSD be given to third parties for promotional or solicitation purposes.
Use of personal information
When you subscribe to its mailing lists, CSD collects your name, email or cell phone number. This essential information enables the team to send you news and updates about CSD Construction and its website via email or SMS. Please note that CSD Construction may mandate a third-party supplier to provide this subscription service.
Electronic shopping cart commonly referred to as a “Store” or “Online Store”
CSD uses the personal information that you shared upon setting up your account for the electronic shopping cart system exclusively to optimize the use of your time and improve your shopping experience. To open your account, the following personal information is required: name, email, phone number, shipping and billing addresses. CSD only keeps this information so you do not have to provide it again for subsequent purchases.
When you purchase items via CSD Construction’s electronic shopping cart system, your credit card or account information is collected from a third-party online payment provider. The information collected is used only to process the transaction and will not be retained by CSD Construction beyond what is necessary to ensure follow-up.
Online payments made through CSD Construction websites are processed securely from start to end. Your credit card information or your account with a third-party electronic payment provider such as PayPal is transmitted over the Internet by your browser and CSD Construction’s online payment tools using data encryption protocols (such as Secure Sockets Layer, or SSL).
CSD Construction’s websites do not store payment information. Data will be archived and disclosed in strict compliance with security standards, to ensure that access is restricted to authorized persons only. Consequently, CSD Construction may require you to confirm your identity before providing you with confidential information.

CSD Construction’s Social Media Policy
CSD Construction’s Facebook page is managed by the union’s communications team. Through it, CSD aims to inform its members of their rights and of any information relevant to their profession. CSD’s team responds to private messages in a timely manner within normal business hours.
This policy applies to all CSD Construction’s Facebook page users. By posting a comment, you are deemed to accept these terms of use.
CSD Construction encourages constructive and respectful exchanges on its Facebook page. To this end, please note that:
- Any comment that does not comply with Facebook’s Community Standards (facebook.com/communitystandards) will be deleted.
- Any abusive, defamatory, hateful, threatening, violent, discriminatory or vulgar comment, any harassing message or any pornographic material will be deleted, and its author will be blocked.
- Comments aimed at discrediting CSD Construction representatives will be taken down.
- Messages deemed inappropriate or posted repeatedly will be deleted.
- Messages containing commercial (product, service or cause), propaganda or political solicitation will be deleted.
- Any breach of third-party intellectual property protection rules or any message containing confidential information will be deleted.
- CSD Construction reserves the right to ban anyone using a fraudulent Facebook account or impersonating any person or entity.
CSD’s team reserves the right to delete any comment that does not comply with the above standards and, depending on the nature of the offence, to block the person who posted it. CSD’s social media policy is subject to change at any time without notice.
CSD Construction reserves the right to use any photo or comment posted on its Facebook page for communications purposes. Owners of the photos will be credited.
