Planning a trip south during the winter construction holidays? Don’t forget to check if your trip is covered by MÉDIC Construction.

Some MÉDIC insurance plans cover medical emergencies abroad (certain medical, hospital and related expenses can be reimbursed). Read your plan’s Bulletin MÉDIC Construction to find out if you are eligible.

You should also read the travel advisories that apply for your destination on the Government of Canada website. It is a good idea to check both while planning your trip and just before leaving as safety conditions may have changed between booking and departure dates.

The program does not cover you if you visit a destination that lists a warning to “avoid all travel” or “avoid non-essential travel.”

Read through the program exclusions for more details.
