It’s vacation cheque season! Your vacation allowance includes the amounts credited from January to June, 2024. Every month, your employer remits to the CCQ the indemnities for paid statutory holidays and obligatory annual vacations set out in the collective agreements.
Direct deposit: if you’re enrolled in CCQ direct deposit, your money will be deposited into your account on November 21, 2024.
Mailing: for those not enrolled in direct deposit, all vacation cheques were mailed on November 13.
What should I do if I haven’t received my cheque?
Inform the CCQ of the situation by completing the “Contact us” form on the CCQ website (only available in French):
- In the Profil question, select “Salarié(e) ou retraité(e)” and fill in your contact details in the form that appears.
- In the Sujet section of the form, select “Chèque de congés payés”.
- In the Question ou commentaire field, write “Réémission de chèque”.
The CCQ will send you a new cheque by courier (within a maximum of 15 working days.) If you would like to receive your cheque before the start of the winter vacation, you must make your request no later than December 1, 2024.
