About 145,000 employees are automatically insured by MÉDIC Construction based on the hours they have accumulated in their file. No action needs to be taken. However, more than 44,000 people, such as retirees, certain employers and employees eligible for the premium needed to obtain coverage under plan C, receive a notice of insurability by mail which describes the insurance coverage available to them and the premiums to pay.
For the insurance period of July 1 to December 31, 2024, notices of insurability are accessible online from April 17 to June 3, 2024, and will be mailed on April 24, 2024.
