WHAT IS THE ROLE OF THE RSS?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Health and safety representatives (RSS) perform the following tasks on construction sites:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Ensure the health and safety of workers on site.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Make recommendations where necessary.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    WHAT ARE THE CRITERIA FOR BECOMING AN RSS?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    • You must be a journeyman or labourer (with at least 10,000 hours registered with the CCQ, or 10 years of experience in construction);<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • You must comply with article 26 of Law R20, particularly with regard to criminal records;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • You must hold a valid CCQ card;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • You must be a member of CSD Construction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
