The profession of carpenter-joiner is the most versatile and the one that offers the most specialties.
The carpenter-joiner is responsible for installing, erecting, building and repairing wooden structures, but he can also erect wall, floor or roof structures. He knows how to install exterior coverings and insulation. He installs exterior doors and windows, builds formwork and lays deep foundations.
He can also build divisions and do interior finishing (doors, mouldings, storage spaces, built-in furnishings, etc.). That’s without forgetting that he can build stairs and lay wooden floors.
